DogHouse Photography was started in April of 2001 after photographer William E. Thompson moved to Asheboro, North Carolina to begin his teaching job as the photojournalism instructor in the photography department of Randolph Community College.
"I wanted a place where I could set up my darkroom equipment, work on projects, and just hang out. My then fiancee (now my beautiful wife) would send me to my 'doghouse' to work and the name has lovingly stuck."
Thanks for visiting,
